I graduated Cum Laude from Montclair State University with a BA in Fine Arts and from New York University with a Master’s degree in Art Therapy. I am a licensed Creative Arts Therapist in NY, a Licensed Professional Counselor in NJ, and a nationally registered and board certified Art Therapist.

For the past twenty years, I have treated clients with eating disorders and co-occurring disorders in partial hospital, inpatient, intensive outpatient, and outpatient treatment settings. Over the course of my seven years at an intensive psychiatric unit at Saint Clare’s Hospital in NJ, I gained invaluable experience diagnosing and treating a full range of psychiatric conditions.

In addition to my clinical work, I have designed, implemented, and run several successful treatment programs that are still flourishing today. I spent three years at Hospice, where I developed and ran several creative arts therapies bereavement programs for children, adolescents, and adults. I worked with Atlantic Health in NJ from the inception of their eating disorders program, assisting in its development and management.

I have also provided supervision of staff and students in a variety of treatment settings for over a decade.
